Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) intends to procure coal based thermal power up to a capacity of 1600 MW through a Competitive Bidding Process. The procurement will be based on long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs) and will follow the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Coal under the SHAKTI policy. The developer may install a new project at any location within or outside the State of Maharashtra, and the electricity will be delivered at STU/MSETCL periphery. The selection of the developer will occur through a transparent bidding process. |
